REQUEST A DISCOVERY CALL

When I look around my house, I don’t see carefully posed photos in the frames hanging on the walls.

I see frozen-in-time reminders of the best times of my life.

Nobody’s looking at the camera because they’re too busy soaking up the sun, playing with a dog, laughing their heads off, and otherwise living in the moment.

The photos take me straight back to those perfect (or perfectly imperfect) days, and I can remember not just what happened and how those days looked — but also how they felt.

And that’s what I want for you.

Hi, I'm Amber

"We had the best day exploring our favorite areas with Amber. She made the entire process so fun, simple and stress free; which is exactly what we were looking for and why we wanted to elope. It honestly felt like we were hanging out with an old friend."

- Kelsey W.

As we get to know each other, I’m gonna be a broken record.

Every time you hit me with a “What should we?” question, I’ll hit you back with another one:

“What do you want?”

Elopements, micro weddings and couples sessions are about creating experiences you’ve been craving. You should look back and know you didn’t compromise a single thing.

Here’s how I help.

Idea machine. Fun chaser. Hype woman.

I don’t love the word “no.”

My job is to offer the ideas, hype, and encouragement you need to make unforgettable plans.

Of course, I’ll tell you if what you want will put you in danger or at risk of getting fined and arrested. Beyond that, the only time I’ll nag you is when I remind you again to pack extra layers — or reapply your sunscreen before that hike.

Your photo session is 100% about you — I’m just here to make it happen.

None of this is about me.

I knew I wanted to be a photographer when I was 13 years old. (And photographed my first wedding while I was in high school.)

I love a new hobby. I’ve indulged in everything from circus school to knitting to adventure racing.

My husband Shayne and I met during my skydiving phase (and yes, we eloped too).

I’m highly motivated by fun. (Enneagram 7.)

(This section is about me.)

Here are my ride or dies.

And before you ask — yes. Whatever we’re documenting, your dogs are allowed.

Btw, if you elope in Colorado, you can self-solemnize and let your dog witness the signing of your marriage license.

Just saying. Seriously, bring them.

I love being outside. And I want “outside” to stay just as beautiful as it is today.

That’s why I respect and live by Leave No Trace, seven principles that will help us all make the smallest impact possible on outside spaces:
  • Plan ahead and prepare
  • Travel and camp on durable surfaces
  • Dispose of waste properly
  • Leave what you find
  • Minimize campfire impacts
  • Respect wildlife
  • Be considerate of other visitors

I’ll guide you through the decisions you make so we can all honor these principles together.

You should be able to come back to your chosen location for an anniversary, vow renewal, or even a family vacation and see the same pristine beauty you did the first time — and that only happens if we all do our part!

We leave no trace.

Don't wait another second to plan the time of your life.
